Do not refer to a pregnant woman’s unborn baby as “the foetus”, especially when breaking bad news. It doesn’t tend to go down well.

…one OSCE to go!
I’m half glad our OSCE was disc herniations as back/leg neuro is one of my least favourite examinations and it means I don’t have to worry about it coming up tomorrow.
I am hoping that we have Cardio exam as tomorrow’s theme as it’s my favourite and I get to use my stethoscope.
I hope I do well as I’ve hear our OSCE score is added onto our exam score and I’m not super confidant that I got a good exam score >.<
Studying and late nights…
Thought I might just mention something short. Naps are evil. I’m not kidding.
My sleeping habits lately have been really out of whack and I nearly had them under control but then I donated blood today and because I was low in iron (almost too low to donate) I was extremely tired, even though I only gave 270ml (~5% of total blood in the body). I blame college food. The reason I was only able to donate a half bag was that my flow was poor.
I was also a bit bleh because the nurse got all grumpy at me because I have really tiny veins and she didn’t think I had drank enough, even though I had drank so much water that I felt sick.
Anyway, because I napped for 3 hours, my body clock is mad at me and I am hungry, even though I have eaten a box of microwave curry, a mango and a whole tub of salad from the supermarket. Such a pig.
And I am only just tired now (3am).
So yeah, naps are evil and bad and not suitable for uni life. (Once I graduate it will be completely different)
